Henry witnessed the pain and deep-rooted sadness caused by suicide at a young age, specifically the impact it had on his older sister, and fellow Narratives of Hope member, Sarah Feinberg. He assisted Sarah in fundraising and spreading awareness regarding the issue throughout high school. Seeing the effects of various tragedies in the entire Bay Area community, Henry always hoped to aid in the fight for mental health awareness and suicide prevention and is extremely grateful to be a part of Narratives of Hope. He is now an active student-athlete at Williams College, double majoring in English and Economics.
As an athlete, Henry hopes that he is able to utilize the magnificent platform that is Narratives of Hope to assist other student-athletes and everyone struggling from mental health challenges, life-threatening or not. He also aims to spread awareness within the athletic community, one possibly unaware of the opportunities to speak out and gain the motivation to keep fighting despite struggles with mental health.
