Trevor comes to Narratives of Hope with more than 15 years of experience working in a professional capacity or volunteering on a variety of political, fundraising, advocacy and non-profit campaigns. Most recently Trevor served as the Director of Federal Policy for a national non-profit dedicated to suicide prevention, mental health and addiction issues. He has also led a national coalition of organizations that have had success to improve programs and increase funding for mental health and addiction services that have and will ultimately save lives.
However, working with tens of thousands of advocates, survivors, and those struggling from all backgrounds has been his passion. He’s heard the countless stories that shape people’s lives and has seen how profound an impact sharing among those, regardless of the issue, can have on providing HOPE.
Trevor also has personal connections with suicidal loss and ideation among friends and relatives in addition to struggling with depression and addiction himself. He hopes to bring his expertise and personal experiences with him to Narratives of Hope to connect, engage and build a culture in which everyone can openly talk about mental health.
