The Digital Director is responsible for managing and enhancing the digital channels and platforms (social media, websites, email marketing) for Narratives of Hope. This individual possesses a strategic thinking and problem-solving mentality, strong online community and campaign organizing abilities with technical knowledge. This position is responsible for the successful operations of the website and all social media, ensuring engaging and current content, strategic alignment, and brand compliance.
All positions at Narratives of Hope are currently on an unpaid volunteer basis.
Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy
In coordination with the COO, hire and train Digital Department staff
Update and maintain narrativesofhope.org
Publish current and engaging content on social media accounts
Maintain all social media profiles
Have or is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, psychology, social work or related fields. (Preferred)
Experience with Instagram, Facebook and Google Drive required
Experience with social media scheduling platforms (Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.) preferred
Exceptional capacity for managing and leading people
Ability to build and maintain an online community and following
Coordinate webpage maintenance—ensure that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularly
Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
